LIVE is 5IVE has started
Xbox LIVE is celebrating the 5th year of being online by carring out a "LIVE is 5IVE" celebration.It begun today and you can now keep track of the free things available on the anniversary. Grab some free themes to celebrate Xbox LIVE's fifth annivesary. The list of themes include LIVE is 5IVE, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Gears of War, Halo 2, Mech Assault and Ghost Recon 2.
Along with that, all Xbox Live users will have an opportunity to download Carcassonne for free beginning at 12:01 AM PST on November 15 and ending at 11:59 PM PST on November 16, saving you 800points!! |

Microsoft has started its "Believe" advert campaign for Halo 3. You may have started seeing the adverts, but they have also created a virtual tour of the diorama seen in the "Museum" advert. Very cool and should be checked out. |

Xbox LIVE will be down on Sept. 10
Xbox LIVE will be down on September 10th, 2007 for “approximately 4 hours”, starting at 2:01am PDT. Naturally, this means Xbox LIVE will be down between five and seven hours. No word if its down for the fall dashboard update or simple house keeping. Keep your fingers crossed its not down for too long this time. |

Sony caught red handed with Halo 3
It seems that Sony has been doing some editing over at the Wikipedia page for Halo 3. Destructoid posted that a representative of Sony UK edited the Halo 3 page with the following line.. "Although it wont look any better than Halo 2." Now, to me this is just sad. Come on guys, play fair, no more editing Wikipedia, it makes you look like 14 year old kids still in school! |

Peter Moore to head EA Sports
Peter Moore, corporate vice president of interactive entertainment business, entertainment and devices division at Microsoft (Aka head of Xbox), will be soon leaving the company to head up EA Sports. Moore will be replaced by Don Mattrick, a former president of EA and current external adviser for Microsoft, who will now lead the Interactive Entertainment Business for Microsoft. We wish you luck Moore, we will miss your crazy tattoos. |
