Japaneses, alway one to promote weird stuff in weird ways, has started selling (for a second time in fact) instant coffee cans with Neon Genesis Evangelion characters plastered all over them. Why we posting this?? Its been a slow week and we need coffee! |

According to ADV Films UK latest newsletter, ADV Films and Arts Alliance Media have joined forces to offer brand new and classic anime for Download To Rent and Download To Own, available to the public from 21st May 2007. To download the videos, you need to spend a few minutes registering and setting up their download program. For doing theses, your be reward with 5 free anime to download and view. Anime Trailers now in Game Theatres near You
The Emil Chronicle Online (ECO) role-playing game has opened up a "Production I.G Theatre," operated by Production I.G. The virtual theatre, located in the ECO Theatre within the game itself, will begin showing promotional clips from the anime Reideen and Sisters of Wellber on Friday. Production I.G is also preparing exclusive content and staff interviews that can only be viewed at the theatre within the ECO game. Players can also purchase Production I.G "posters" and other in-game merchandise. An interesting way to promote your products inside someone else’s popular game. |

Anime coming to iPods
Anime News Network has confirmed that an announcement will be made later this week about the availability of North American licensed, English dubbed anime on iTunes (US downloads only). Individual episodes will be sold for an "affordable price," in the standard iTunes download to own, DRM protected format. |

Gaint Robot built by Children
Last year, we posted info about a huge (5 and half foot tall) Gundam Wing model that was soon to go on sell, for around $3000!!!
We have been waiting months to see someone build one, and finally our dreams came true.
What makes it even better was that it was built by two young kids. They even kept a Photolog of them building it!!

Korean Comics Exhibit in Ohio
The Ohio State University Cartoon Research Library is presenting an exhibition titled " Korean Comics: A Society Through Small Frames". The manhwa exhibition features 83 framed works by 21 of Korea’s most talented cartoonists, drawn over a period of 40 years. It includes work by artists from both North Korea and South Korea and runs from January 16 - March 16, 2007. |
